Delete your account

Takes effect within 30 days. Deletion is permanent.

This page explains how to delete your account in ColombiaCad, the app for iOS and Android published by Andersonation LLC, and what happens to your data.

In the app

Open ColombiaCad, tap the account icon at the top of the zone list, and choose Delete account (Eliminar cuenta in Spanish), then confirm. This permanently removes your account, your saved places, and your measurements from our servers.

By email

You can also request deletion by writing to us from the email address on your account.

We verify the request and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What is deleted

Your account (email and name), your sign-in identities and two-factor settings, your saved places, measurements, and drawings, your registered devices, and the record of zones downloaded to your account.

What is kept

A record of each zone delivered to your account (the zone, the time, the platform, and the network address) for up to 180 days after the delivery, so that refund requests and payment disputes can be answered. It is then deleted.
Records we must keep for security, abuse prevention, or legal reasons, such as a record that an account was restricted under our Terms of Use.
Your purchase record with Apple or Google and with our purchase-management provider, which includes your email and name. You can ask us by email to have that record removed too.

The Privacy Policy (Section 5) describes each of these. If you are in Colombia, deleting your account is also how you exercise your right to have your data deleted (supresión) under Ley 1581 de 2012; Section 12 of the Privacy Policy explains your other rights.

Subscriptions and maps on your device

Subscriptions are managed by the app store and can be cancelled in your store account settings; deleting your account does not cancel a subscription, charge, or refund anything. Maps downloaded to your device stay there until you uninstall the app.
